Apple App Store and Google Play Store Settings

After providing access to your Apple/Google Play Developer Account, you can edit the App Store information, which is required before you can submit a publish request. Please log in to JMango360 Back Office and navigate to App Store Info module to edit the App Store information.

Publishing Method

  1. Store setting for (required): Choose your Apple Developer Account or JMango360 Developer Account (jm.support@jmango360.com) to publish your app.
  2. Team name: If you already invited JMango360 to be your team member, please provide your team name.

App Information

  1. App name (required): Choose a simple, memorable name that is easy to spell and hints at what your app does. An app name can be up to 30 characters long.
  2. Default language on App Store (required): Specify the default language of the information you provide, such as description.
  3. Subtitle: Specify your app's subtitle to summarize your app in a concise phrase. A subtitle can be up to 30 characters long and appears below your app's name throughout the App Store.
  4. Age rating: Select an age rating that your app targets. Make sure your app aligns properly with parental controls.
  5. App available in countries (required): Select the countries where you want your app to be available. Note that apps will always be available in The Netherlands and Vietnam for testing purposes.
  6. Primary category (required): The primary category is particularly important for your app's discoverability on the App Store. Make sure you choose the category that best suits your app. Choosing an irrelevant category may cause your app to be rejected when submitted for review.
  7. Secondary category: You can select an additional category for your app.
  8. Support URL (required): Apple expects a bare minimum of support for app users. Please provide a website where users can visit to contact the developer of the app with questions, concerns, or issues. 
  9. Keyword (required): Choose keywords carefully to help determine where your app displays in search results. Keywords are limited to 100 characters total, with terms separated by commas and no spaces. Note that you can use spaces to separate words within keyword phrases.
  10. Description (required): Provide an engaging description that highlights the features and functionality of your app. No character limit is set but only the first 252 characters will be visible while the rest will be truncated. 
  11. What's new in this version: When you update your app, you can use this field to communicate changes to users. Up to 4000 characters can be included in this field.

Graphics

Please make sure you use images to which you own the copyrights.
  1. App icon (required): An app icon represents your app in different sections of the App Store. Requirements: PNG format, sRGB or P3 color space, flattened with no transparency, square with no rounded corners. The image size and resolution varies. For details, please see App Icon and Image Size and Resolution.
  2. Splash screen (required): A splash screen appears instantly when your app starts up and is quickly replaced with the app's first screen. For details, please see Launch Screen.
  3. App Store screenshots (required): App screenshots and previews are used to visually communicate your app's user experience. While you can feature up to 10 screenshots and previews, you must upload at least one screenshot of your app, and uploading an app preview is optional. Ownership validation

Apple will validate if you own the brand name. You can provide a URL or upload up to 10 documents that prove you are the owner of the brand name. Any file types such as Word, PDF, or image are allowed.

  11. Full description (required): Use the full description to provide an extensive, yet clear and structured description of your app's features and functionality. A full description can include up to 4000 characters.
  12. What's new in this version: When you update your app, you can use this field to communicate changes to users. Up to 500 characters can be included in this field.

  1. Feature graphic (required): A feature graphic is displayed before screenshots on an app’s store listing. If you’ve added a promo video, a Play button will overlay on your feature graphic so users can watch your promo video. The feature graphic should be in JPEG or 24-bit PNG (no alpha), with the size of 1024 x 500 px. Regarding promo videos, use a video’s full YouTube video link (i.e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yourvideoid). 
  2. App icon (required): An app icon is used in various locations on Google Play. Requirements: 32-bit PNG (with alpha) format, in the size of 512 x 512 px with the maximum file size of 1024 KB.
  3. Splash screen (required): A splash screen appears instantly when your app starts up and is quickly replaced with the app's first screen. Requirements: JPEG or 24-bit PNG (no alpha), recommended size: 720 x 1600 px.
  4. Google Play Store screenshots (required): App screenshots are used to visually communicate your app's user experience. While you can feature up to 8 screenshots, you must upload at least 2 screenshots of your app. Requirements: JPEG or 24-bit PNG (no alpha), minimum dimension: 320 px, maximum dimension: 3840 px. The maximum dimension of your screenshot cannot be more than twice as long as the minimum dimension.
