How to enable back-in-stock push notifications?

 

There will be times when you are unable to fully provide your app users with certain products they are out to buy. To ease the disappointment, you can consider using our back-in-stock push notifications to help your app users purchase instantly right after the item returns to stock.

Once you have back-in-stock push notifications enabled, a button labelled Notify me when it is back in stock will be displayed in the product details page of any out-of-stock product or variant. App users can select the button to subscribe to the product stock alert and get the push notification when the subscribed item is back-in-stock.

When the product or variant returns to stock, a push notification with a deep link to that product/variant will be sent to all the subscribers. The push notification content can include the product name (with deep link), text, and emoji and have a 110-character limit.

As for PWAs, due to technical limitations, push notifications are available to Android PWAs only. Besides, app users can receive push notifications only when they allow push notifications for your app/PWA.


Magento 2

Required versions: React Native - Mobile 3.8.0 & Plugin 1.10.0, Android PWA - Mobile 1.9.0 & Plugin 1.5.0

Step 1: Enable the display of out-of-stock products/variants.
  1. Out-of-stock products: Go to Magento Admin > Stores > Configuration > Catalog > Inventory > Stock Options, then enable the setting 'Display Out of Stock Products'
  2. Out-of-stock variants: Go to JMango360 Back Office > Settings > Sale Settings, then disable the setting 'Hide out of stock variants on app'
Step 2: Contact customer.success@jmango360.com so we can help you enable back-in-stock push notifications in JMango360 Back Office.

Step 1: Enable the display of out-of-stock products/variants.
  1. Out-of-stock products: Go to JMango360 Back Office > Settings > Sale Settings, then enable the setting 'Display out of stock products'
  2. Out-of-stock variants: Go to JMango360 Back Office > Settings > Sale Settings, then enable the setting 'Display out of stock variants'
Step 2: Contact customer.success@jmango360.com to enable back-in-stock push notifications in JMango360 Back Office.

  1. Go to JMango360 Back Office > Settings > Lightspeed Integration Settings, then disable the setting 'Product availability (stock)'

  1. Go to JMango360 Back Office > Settings > Sale Settings, then disable the setting 'Hide out of stock combinations not be able to add to cart on mobile app'
