How to make the app available when using Manual Release?

BACKGROUND

What is the setting for app manual release?

When we want to launch your app on the iOS or Android platforms, we must request and await approval. Normally, once approved, your app will appear in the App Store or Google Play. So, what should you do if you want to change or edit something urgently before releasing the app? We can help!

Both Google Play and the App Store support the Setting for app manual release. This feature allows you to leave your app on standby after receiving approval to go live. You can still make changes and test new features, and your app will be released when you're ready. (You can release app by yourself). Or if you work with JMango360, we will handle all this setup and release stage for you as long as you notify us.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We can share the flow of the process as follows

iOS

Step 1:  Login to App Store Connect, choose My apps then open the app through the customer's shared account.

Step 2: In App store section, scroll down to the bottom.

In the Version release area, click on the checkbox Manually release this version then click Save in the upper right corner.

Step 3:
The app will need to wait for Apple Store's inspection and approval before it can be released.
In the screen's upper right corner, Click Release This Version to release your app.

Whenever you release an app update, keep in mind that it will take about 24 hours for the automatic update in the App Stores will be available.

Android

Step 1: Access Play Google Console, open the app through the customer's shared account.

Step 2: In the side menu, open Publishing overview to setting Publish status.

Setting Turn on/Turn off managed publishing:
- Managed publishing on (You control when updates are published on Google Play - manual release)
- Managed publishing off (Updates are published automatically as soon as they’re approved - automatic release)
Step 3:
The app will need to wait for Google Console's inspection and approval before it can be released.
In the screen's upper right corner, click Publish Changes to release your app
