One of the most important pages in the app is checkout. We made it more secure and convenient across various devices.
The previous version of the in-app browser, used amongst others to load the eCommerce checkout page, also called the web checkout, was prone to an update to meet new security requirements of various payment methods. As a result, some popular payment methods (Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Paypal) did not work in this version of the internal browser.
Therefore we improved the in-app browser, meeting all required security requirements and enabling payment methods like Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Paypal if these are available in your eCommerce checkout - web checkout making it more secure. Everybody wins!

- SFSafariViewController is available for iOS 9.
- Chrome Custom Tabs is available to all users on Chrome 45.
