Step 2: Select the radio button Enable Braintree mobile payment.
Step 3: Set up Braintree mobile payment with the following fields.
- Environment: This field specifies where requests via the API should be directed — Sandbox or Production. Each environment requires a different set of API credentials.
- Merchant ID: The unique identifier for your entire gateway account. Your merchant ID will be different for your production and sandbox gateways.
- Public Key: The public and private keys together make up API keys which are different for your production and sandbox gateways. Public key is your user-specific public identifier.
- Private Key: Private key is your user-specific private identifier. Your private key should not be shared outside the use of an API call.
- Merchant Account ID: The unique identifier for a specific merchant account in your gateway. Note that merchant account ID is not the same as your merchant ID.
- Display Name: The label that shows on the payment method screen during checkout.
- Tokenization Key: A tokenization key authorizes clients to tokenize payment information.
Test Settings: After filling in the required information, click this button to check if the API credentials are valid.
Step 4: Click Save Changes, then test Braintree native payment in your mobile app.
