Native payment: Braintree

Native payment: Braintree

It stands to reason that an unnecessarily long and complicated checkout process discourages shoppers and increases the cart abandonment rate. Knowing that, JMango360 offers you and your app users a native payment process that is fast and convenient. We integrate with Braintree SDK to enable PayPal, Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay payments and the possibility to save card information for future payments.

Set up Braintree native payment

1. Make sure you enable PayPalApple Pay, and Google Pay in Braintree Control Panel.
2. As for Apple Pay and Google Pay, provide JMango360 with your Apple Pay Merchant ID and Google Merchant ID.

Step 1: Log in to JMango360 Back Office, then go to Settings > Native Payment Settings
Step 2: Select the radio button Enable Braintree mobile payment.
Step 3: Set up Braintree mobile payment with the following fields.
  1. Environment: This field specifies where requests via the API should be directed — Sandbox or Production. Each environment requires a different set of API credentials.
  2. Merchant ID: The unique identifier for your entire gateway account. Your merchant ID will be different for your production and sandbox gateways.
  3. Public Key: The public and private keys together make up API keys which are different for your production and sandbox gateways. Public key is your user-specific public identifier.
  4. Private Key: Private key is your user-specific private identifier. Your private key should not be shared outside the use of an API call.
  5. Merchant Account ID: The unique identifier for a specific merchant account in your gateway. Note that merchant account ID is not the same as your merchant ID
  6. Display Name: The label that shows on the payment method screen during checkout.
  7. Test Settings: After filling in the required information, click this button to check if the API credentials are valid.
Step 4: Click Save Changes, then test Braintree native payment in your mobile app.
