Universal links are a new way to open apps from websites. They work on both iOS and Android devices, and they provide a number of benefits for users:
  1. Seamless experience: When you click on a universal link, you will be taken directly to the relevant content in the app if you have the app installed.
  2. Secure: Universal links are more secure than traditional app links, because they use standard web technologies and prevent URL hijacking.
  3. Flexible: Universal links can be used to open any type of content in an app, including products, articles, videos, and more.
Prerequisites and implementation
  1. Already available on Magento 2 and Salesforce, new on BigCommerce
  2. Available on app versions:
    1. Magento 2 from version 4.0.0
    2. Salesforce from version 2.0.0
    3. BigCommerce from version 4.0.0

JMango360 Analytics dashboard - update

We released an update of the JMango360 dashboard incorporating client feedback, bug fixing and optimizations to provide more tailor made analytics. Below an overview of the changes:

Data updates
  1. KPIs > Downloads data. For apps with multiple store views the download data was inaccurate due to double counting. This error has been fixed.
  2. KPIs > Average order value. For apps with multiple currencies, the average order value didn’t include a currency conversion. This value is now normalized to one currency (Euro). The AOV graph is still available at the bottom showing all currencies.
New insights
  1. Detailed order information. On the Order tab, we’ve added tables and graphs providing information about order statuses for the selected period.
Prerequisites and implementation
  1. No implementation required. Available for all clients.

Google Play API level 33 update

Starting August 31, 2023, all new apps and app updates submitted to Google Play must target Android 13 (API level 33) or higher. This means that your app will need to be built with the Android 13 SDK and use the new features and APIs that Android 13 provides.

We updated our App and API connection to meet the new requirements. Part of the update is a new mandatory functionality in the app to request an account deletion.

Via your Google Developer account you have received an update about this requirement.

2-Factor Authentication for JMango360 backend

The introduction of the 2-factor authentication to login to the JMango360 backend is part of a wider list of actions to keep improving our security.
To login to our platform you’re prompted to fill in a 6-digit code. This code is sent to the main email address registered with JMango360. If you want to add additional email addresses you can enable this in your profile or let us know, then we enable this for you.
Enable additional emails addresses for 2FA on the platform
  1. Login to the JMango360 backend

  3. 2FA is enabled
  4. In the row ‘2-step verification emails’, click on the Edit button
  5. Enter the email, then click on Add and then click Save Changes

Reorder feature

Reordering made easy! From Order Details screen, the customer can purchase an order again just by a click. The customer is directed to shopping cart screen with the whole order that is seen in Order History.

Upgrade of App-Only categories

Creating app-only categories in the app was already feasible. We’ve upgraded the data feed between BigCommerce and JMango360 to make sure that products in your app-only category and products are not visible on your website via Search. App Only is now really App Only.
