How to renew Apple Developer Membership?

Your Apple Developer Membership expires annually. Make sure to renew your membership before it expires to keep your account active and maintain membership benefits. You can either renew your membership manually or have it automatically renewed.

Manual renewal

You can renew your membership starting 30 days before the expiration date of your existing membership or any time after the membership expires. Your expiration date is available in your account on the Apple Developer Center.

Follow the steps below to renew your membership:

Step 1: Log in to Apple Developer Center using the account you used to enroll, then go to Account > Membership.
Step 2: Click Renew Membership on the top of the page. Please note that this button only appears 30 days prior to the expiration date when you have automatic renewal turned off.
Step 3: On the next pages, review your program and purchase details and click Continue. You will then be promoted to fill in your credit card information to pay for an additional year of service with Apple.

Depending on the current state of your membership, either of the following cases happens:
  1. If your membership is still active when you renew, your new membership will activate as soon as your current membership expires and you will receive two new Technical Support Incidents (TSIs).
  2. If your membership has already expired when you renew, your renewal will activate once you complete the renewal process. In doing so, any free apps you had available for download will become available again within 24 hours. Any paid apps you had available for download will become available again after you sign in to App Store Connect and complete your Paid Applications contract. You don't need to resubmit your apps. You will also receive two new TSIs and regain access to any TSIs purchased separately from your Apple Developer Program. Please note that TSIs purchased separately expire one year from the date they were activated.

Automatic renewal

When you enable automatic renewal, your default credit/debit card associated with your Apple ID will be charged the annual membership fee on your expiration date. You can opt in to automatic renewal when you enroll in the Apple Developer Program or any time during your existing membership.

Follow the steps below to enable automatic renewal for Apple Developer Account:

Step 1: Log in to Apple Developer Center using the account you used to enroll, then go to Account > Membership.
Step 2Select the Auto-Renew Membership check box at the bottom of the page. Don't forget to associate a credit/debit card with your account.

Note: Automatic renewal is only available in certain countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Ireland, France, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, UAE, Turkey, Singapore, Taiwan, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippines, and Malaysia.
