Storefront - Role & Permission Management

Role & Permission Screen 

Screen User Permission will be displayed as a menu item in the account dashboard's side menu for the B2B Buyer.


Action 

B2B Buyers can edit their employee's roles and create order limits here. 

When clicking on User Permission, the screen displays:

  • Screen title: “User Permissions”

  • Roles: Display all available roles that B2B Buyers can change the permission

  • Action: B2B Buyer can edit Role and Order limit for the corresponding roles. 


How: Login as a B2B buyer, Navigate Account > User permissions. 


Edit Role’s Permission

B2B buyers can edit the permission to access features for roles.


The components of the Edit role area include: 

- Screen title: “Edit Role”
- Role: Default as Employee
- Level:  a dropdown list. Permissions for each level are based on the Admin settings on Admin Portal. 
  • Senior

  • Junior

Default permissions that Admin can set up for each level include:

  • Cart Management

Place Order

  • Order Management 

View Order Detail

Export Order

View Order History

B2B Buyers can select one level for each role. 


How: Login as a B2B buyer, Navigate Account > User permissions. Click Edit in the Action column. B2B buyers can select or unselect permissions to the role and then click Update to save changes.

Create Order Limit 

  1. Order limit toggle on/ off: 

  • If B2B Buyer enables this button, all limits created on this screen will be enabled. If no limit is created, this button cannot be enabled.

  • If B2B Buyer disables this button, all limits created on this screen will be disabled but still be visible.


  1. Add new limit 

Box title: “Add Limit”

- Allow limit:

Allow B2B buyers to set a total order limit by store's default currency per month/ date during a selected period for the role. 

Allow Limit will be displayed with the currently selected currency. 


- Start Date: Allow users to set when Order Limit will be applied.
  • If the period has been set up per day (Allow Limit Period = Day), start date fields display a date.

  • If the period has been set up per month (Allow Limit Period = Month, start date fields display a month of the year.

Users can apply a new limit or cancel the limit. 


How: Login as a B2B buyer, Navigate Account > User permissions. Click Edit in the Action column then click Add new limit button. Users can click Apply to save changes or cancel the procedure by clicking Cancel.

Permissions List

The permission List area displays the permission that is currently configured to the role and can be changed by B2B Buyer (Owner) 


B2B Buyer can select or deselect permissions for each role and role's level.

When permission is not selected, the users who have the corresponding role won’t be able to act.


How: Login as a B2B buyer, Navigate Account > User permissions. Click Edit in the Action column. B2B buyers can tick or untick checkboxes in the Permission List area and then click Update to save changes. 

After updating Role & Permission, a success message will be displayed “Permissions user have been updated successfully.”
