In case you would like to share your Prestashop backend with someone else, you need to create a new admin account for them. Follow the steps below to find out how to do this:
Step 1: Login to the Prestashop Admin Dashboard.
Step 2: In the side menu go to the Administration menu item, then select Employees.
Step 3. Click on the Add new employee button at the top right corner of the screen.
This will take you to the Add Employees screen.
Step 4: Fill in the form items below:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address and password.
- Active: select YES.
- Permission profile: select the SuperAdmin option.
Step 5. Click on the Save button, in the bottom right corner.
You are done now!
You might need to logout from the current account and try to login again with the new one to make sure it works.
