How to display sub-categories as static blocks [Native App]?

Normally, when you navigate to a category, your app will display the products under that category in the product list. If the category has sub-categories within it, the sub-categories will be collapsed at the top of the product list. You need to expand the sub-category list to see and select the sub-category they want. If you prefer to display sub-categories under a category as static blocks, keep reading.


Magento App & PWA

Please make sure the following and re-integrate your app to update the changes:
  1. The category has sub-categories.
  2. The category has no products directly assigned to it. 
  3. The category is NOT an anchor category, meaning that it will NOT contain products assigned to its sub-categories. In category management, navigate to Display Settings > Is Anchor = NO.


BigCommerce App

Please make sure the following and re-integrate your app to update the changes:
  1. The category has sub-categories.
  2. The category has no products directly assigned to it. 

PrestaShop App & PWA

Please make sure the following and re-integrate your app to update the changes:
  1. The category has sub-categories.
  2. The category has no products directly assigned to it. 
  3. Sub-category products are NOT shown in parent categories. Please enable the following built-in modules and disable the Show products from subcategories option.

Lightspeed App

Please make sure the following and re-integrate your app to update the changes:
  1. The category has sub-categories.
  2. The category has no products directly assigned to it.
