Recommendations for push notifications

In general, the aim is to stay on the radar of your customer, keep them informed but don't get annoying. So, how to do this? Make sure that your messages add value to your customers.

 Manual push notifications

The objective is to open the app and start a shopping session. Therefore:
  1. Keep it short and send at the start of your best sales days/hours, so you know for sure your customers have the time to start shopping.
  2. Make the call to action instant or short-term. You can create some FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) for an extra push.
  3. Use emojis to keep it fun. Our advice is 1-2 per message.
  4. Schedule your messages to ensure you won't forget.
  5. Don't go nuts with the number of messages. On average, we recommend 2-3 messages per month.
Back in stock push notifications    Learn more!

If your settings show out-of-stock products in the app, always enable this feature. There's no downside of sending a push message when the product is back in stock. Please note that you can tailor the message as you wish.

Order status push notifications    Learn more!

Definitely recommended but not for all order statuses. We recommend using this type of push message for the following events:
  1. Order successfully received
  2. Order shipped
  3. Order cancelled / issue
You can customize each message, e.g., "We've received your order <order number>" or "Good news, your order <order number> is shipped. See your email for more information".
