Use product scanner B2C to quickly add products to cart

Settings available in JMango360 Back Office > Design > Add Feature > Product Scanner B2C.

Using our product scanner B2C, mobile customers can quickly find a product by scanning the barcode, which saves their time and effort when shopping on the go. 


Magento App

In JMango360 Back Office, navigate to the Design module > Add Feature > Product Scanner B2C. By default, the scanner is associated with NO product attribute, thus it will work based on ALL product details in the database. You can choose one product attribute for barcode scanning.



Don't forget that you can edit the scanner and add it to the home page as a slide or button.

  1. iOS: Barcode scanner is not supported for "Add to Home Screen" PWA due to a limitation of Safari.
  2. Android: In Chrome browser, when users deny access to camera, their selection will be saved until they allow access. Watch tutorial!

In JMango360 Back Office, navigate to the Design module > Add Feature > Product Scanner B2C. The scanner will work based on the UPC/EAN identifier of your products.

In JMango360 Back Office, navigate to the Design module > Add Feature > Product Scanner B2C. As the scanner is added, we check if the products in your app have barcode for scanning.
  1. If YES, there appears a green message We successfully discovered the required information in your database to use this feature.
  2. If NO, there appears a red message We can't discover the EAN values in your database. This feature won't work correctly in your app until you have entered the EAN values in your product database in your e-commerce platform.
