Set up automated emails

Automated emails such as quotation request and password reset are important to every B2B business. In this article different ways you can configure automated emails for your B2B system.

What it is?
You will use your current email service provider such as Mailgun **

All emails will be sent from your email service provider with your domain.
You will use JMango360's current email service provider — Postmark. 

By providing your sub-domain, all email will be sent from JMango360's email service provider with your domain.
You will use JMango360's current email service provider — Postmark.

All emails will be sent from JMango360's email service provider with JMango360's domain.

Option 1: Use your own SMTP for automated emails



Step 1: Log in to your B2B admin portal.
Step 2: In the left menu, select General Settings > Integration Settings > Email Configuration Settings.
Step 3: Under Mail Services, choose the first option Use your own SMTP, then enter required information.
  1. Select your provider: Choose either Mailgun or Postmark. For other email service providers, please contact support@jmango360.com 
  2. Mailgun - Private API key: Find this key in your Mailgun dashboard > Settings > API Keys > Private API key.
  3. Postmark - Server API token: Find this key in your Postmark dashboard > Servers > API Tokens > Server API token.
  4. Domain: Enter the domain name you want to use in format domain.com 
Step 4: Under Sender Email, enter the username you want to use with maximum length of 50 characters.
Step 5: Under Test Email, enter the recipient email for the email testing, then choose Send. The test email will be sent to the recipient immediately.
Step 6: Click Save to save changes.

Option 2: Use JMango360 SMTP with your sub-domain



Step 1: Log in to your B2B admin portal.
Step 2: In the left menu, select General Settings > Integration Settings > Email Configuration Settings.
Step 3: Under Mail Services, choose the second option Use JMango360 SMTP with your sub-domain, then enter the domain name you want to use in format domain.com
Step 4: Click Save and let our Support Team at support@jmango360.com know your progress.
Step 5: We will send you the DNS record from Postmark. Please add the DNS record to your domain then inform us of the result.
Step 6: Now you can specify the sender email in your B2B admin portal. Under Sender Email, enter the username you want to use with maximum length of 50 characters.
Step 7: At this stage, you can test the automated emails. Under Test Email, enter the recipient email for the email testing, then choose Send. The test email will be sent to the recipient immediately.
Step 8: Click Save to save changes.

Option 3: Use JMango360 SMTP without your domain



Step 1: Log in to your B2B admin portal.
Step 2: In the left menu, select General Settings > Integration Settings > Email Configuration Settings.
Step 3: Under Mail Services, choose the third option Use JMango360 SMTP without your domain.
Step 4Under Sender Email, enter the username you want to use with maximum length of 50 characters. The domain name jmango360.com cannot be changed.
Step 5Under Test Email, enter the recipient email for the email testing, then choose Send. The test email will be sent to the recipient immediately.
Step 6: Click Save to save changes.
